Janelle Hiet-Block is an entrepreneur, investment advisor and Founder of VR Beyond CPA Corp located in the heart of Kerrisdale, Vancouver BC. Janelle started her Accounting practice from a humble basement with just one client in 2012, and now over a decade later she has helped well over 100 small and medium sized businesses ranging from start ups to medium sized corporations achieve their true potential and organization goals.

Janelle's hard work, commitment, and a deep passion to help her clients has always helped entrepreneurs achieve their targets. As an experienced CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant), Janelle has used her extensive accounting and business background to help build successful businesses.

Most businesses do not pay attention to their core values, and why they are in the business, and the brand name, and make no mistake Janelle believes in core values to the core of her heart, she is personable, and takes every business very seriously. Janelle has helped her clients identify their personal goals and merge it with their business goals to drive and steer short and long term decision making. 

Janelle has graduated from UBC (University of British Columbia) followed by working towards her designation with CGA (Certified General Accountants) and CPA (Chartered Professional Accountants). She received certification in In-Depth tax program from CPA Canada. She specializes in Canadian taxes with extensive knowledge in US cross-border tax compliance.

She started her career with a large Accounting Firm based in Downtown Vancouver, and worked her way up the corporate ladder to be the Accounting Supervisor and Tax Specialist. Years later, today Janelle runs a successful accounting practice with ever coveted passion to help her clients save money in taxes, suggest successful business strategies. 

Janelle loves to play Tennis, Badminton, hikes, running, and working out. Just like her accounting practice she takes her health seriously. The most satisfying part of her career is the fact that her clients trust her before taking any major decisions and want her to be part of every step of their business growth.
